🏈PreK Backyard Football League

Event Description

Games will be played weekly at a UP Park on Thursdays from 4-6 PM. Clinics will be held weekly at a UP Park on Tuesdays 3:45-4:45 PM. We will have HP football players as coaches and assistants!!

Logistics:

• The season runs for 8 weeks from September 9th to October 4th. Games are held on Thursday afternoons after school (8 games total).
• Monday afternoon clinics and Thursday afternoon games
• No set teams (reversible jerseys)
• Coach QB (with opportunity for kid QB later in the season)
• Teams of 6-10
• 2 hand touch
• League will focus mostly on alignment and hand-offs to start, we will further open the play as the season goes on
• Traditional scoring with additional points granted off turnovers and first downs

Our goal is to help establish confidence in the sport of football and give the kids exposure to all the different skill positions on a football field. This league will give everyone an opportunity play in a game setting from multiple positions on both offense and defense.
